The MiniVitamin Collection
Our Mini Vitamin Collection consists of 50 titles from seven publishers that are new to the Reading Recovery Booklist 2010 or the Reading Recovery Booklist 2007. It is designed for continuing contact teachers and all those assisting first graders as they learn to read.
Gathering books from seven top publishers, we are not limited to offerings from one company. We select the best that each company offers. New readers benefit by seeing different fonts, styles, and layouts. We include both fiction and non-fiction titles, as well as various genres. Our collections are culturally diverse and gender fair.
SongLake Books' Mini Vitamin Collection spans Reading Recovery levels 2–18. Although designed for students at risk of reading failure, the Mini Vitamin Collection is appropriate for grade 1 classrooms and bookrooms as well.
