The Vitamin 2008 Collection
Our Vitamin 2008 Collection consists of titles new to the Reading Recovery Booklist 2007. It is designed for continuing contact teachers and all those assisting first graders as they learn to read. This collection features 100 newer titles from nine top companies arranged by RR levels.
Gathering books from nine top publishers, we are not limited to offerings from one company. We select the best that each company offers. New readers benefit by seeing different fonts, styles, and layouts. We include both fiction and non-fiction titles, as well as various genres. Our collections are culturally diverse and gender fair.
These books span Reading Recovery levels 1 through 20. Although designed for students at risk of reading failure, the Vitamin 2008 Collection is appropriate for all ability ranges in a typical grade 1 classroom. You can easily monitor growth as children progress from one level to another. When children plateau, you can intervene sooner and quickly get them back on track.
