The Michelle Add-To Collection (Grade 1)
SongLake Books has designed The Michelle Collection to include 120 books: 6 copies each of 20 titles. This set includes some recently published titles too new to be designated as official titles in some older booklists.
The Michelle Collection spans guided reading levels D–G, where you concentrate most of your time in a typical grade 1 classroom and thus need additional titles. This add-to set is designed to supplement our other grade 1 sets with no duplication. Different genres at each level offer you more flexibility in choosing titles of interest to your students.
All titles have been hand-picked from approved publishers and reorganized into guided reading sets for classrooms, Title I, and new federal programs such as RTI, i3, et al. They are also ideal for bookrooms.
Each collection comes with two lists. One list is arranged by levels. The other list is arranged alphabetically with word counts.
